Mission Statement

The Trinity Glen Rose Groundwater Conservation District (TGRGCD or District) conserves and protects the Trinity Group of Aquifers in northern Bexar County using sound science, community involvement, and peer partnerships to preserve the resource for future generations.

The District was created in response to the Texas Natural Resources Conservation Commission designating a portion of the Trinity Aquifer within Bexar Country as a Priority Groundwater Management Area (PGMA).

Established by the State of Texas, TGRGCD operates in the public eye. You can always find information on the latest meetings and notices at this link.

TGRGCD provides an interactive way for you to keep up with the current water levels in the Trinity Glen Rose Aquifer. Just click on the link to see today's levels.

TGRGCD is made up of five separate districts reaching across the northern reaches of Bexar County. Learn about your district and elected board member here.

TGR News

The Trinity Glen Rose Groundwater Conservation District makes it a priority to follow water issues and information in the typically hot and dry State of Texas. We will be working with our customers to create more ways to reach water users throughout the district. Better informed water users make better decisions on how they can efficiently use the water they need each day.
