Harris Dickey - District 3

Harris Dickey is the District 3 director. He is a retired professional from the retail business sector and currently focuses his District 3 attention on the large federal area located in the district along with two major parks.

The largest development in District 3 is Timberwood Park, where the lot sizes are larger than the typical homesites.  Camp Bullis and Camp Stanley cover most of the western portion of the district. Timberwood can be found on the east. The southern boundary runs up against the Stone Oak area and the Cibolo Creek forms most of the northern boundary.

Eisenhauer Park is a highly used urban park in District 3, and Panther Springs Creek Nature Area is a family friendly park residing in the district.

A unique aspect of D-3 is that three creeks, Leon, Salado, Panther Springs, run through the area. Those type of tributaries are always included in water quality discussions due to their potential recharge to aquifers which underly them.

TGR News

The Trinity Glen Rose Groundwater Conservation District makes it a priority to follow water issues and information in the typically hot and dry State of Texas. We will be working with our customers to create more ways to reach water users throughout the district. Better informed water users make better decisions on how they can efficiently use the water they need each day.
